The PG&E Comfortable Home Rebates Program provides incentives for HVAC maintenance and upgrades to eligible single-family homes, duplexes, triplexes, and fourplexes to improve the performance and energy efficiency of heating and air conditioning systems.

HVAC System Diagnostic Assessment and Tune-Up
An HVAC system diagnostic and condenser coil cleaning to determine eligible and recommended incentives for maintenance and upgrades through the program.
If your AC is low on refrigerant, PG&E will pay $50 towards the cost of filling your system with the corer.
High Efficiency Blower Fan Motors and WCCs
Reduce repair costs and with early retirement of your old standard efficiency PSC blower fan motors before they fail with new high efficiency BPM motors.
Standard efficiency PSC motors really on capacitors, one of the most common parts in an HVAC system to fail. High efficiency BPM motors are more reliable because they do not use capacitors. Note: the compressor and condenser fan motors will continue to rely on capacitors.

HOW IT WORKS
Step 1
Email your address to: contact@westerncooling.com
Step 2
We will submit your address to the PG&E Comfortable Home Rebates Program Administrator (Franklin Energy) to confirm eligibility and notify you of the results.
Step 3
We will schedule an appointment to have one of our technicians complete the program evaluation and inform you of the feasibility of performing the recommended maintenance and installing the recommended upgrades at your property and the cost to you after PG&E rebates.
Step 4 (Final Step)
After completing the work, we will submit the Comfortable Home Rebate Program rebate application to PG&E on your behalf.

We will need your PG&E Electric Service Agreement ID in order to fill-out the rebate application.

Most customers sign-over their rebates to us in order to receive an immediate discount on their invoice and not have to wait for PG&E for reimbursement.
